From Collection to AI-Sorting Robotics – Our Journey

From building our first digital collection system to exploring AI-powered sorting robotics, Cyclothe’s journey is driven by innovation, partnerships, and a commitment to a circular future.

2023: Foundation

Founded in Stockholm with the vision to transform textile waste management through technology and innovation.

2024: Collection

We developed our first end-to-end Digital Textile Collection solution, integrating mobile app, smart bags, and collection boxes.

2025 – Pilot (SorTex)

In collaboration with municipal partners, we begin pilot operations to optimise collection and pre-sorting.

2026: AI-Sorting R&D

Advancing the development of AI-powered sorting technologies to automate reuse-sorting process.
