Why should I create an account to recycle my textile waste? #
Creating an account enables you to:
- Track Your Efforts: View your personal recycling impact, including the amount of textile waste you’ve diverted from landfills and the corresponding savings in CO2 emissions, water, and energy.
- See Collective Impact: Track the collective recycling achievements, contributing to a shared goal of sustainability.
- Meet Regulatory Requirements: EU regulations mandate municipalities to report on textile waste management transparently. Your account ensures that your recycling efforts are linked to the correct municipality for accurate reporting.
- Ensure Full Traceability: Every item is assigned a unique Digital ID, allowing both your recycling journey and the lifecycle of your items to be tracked with transparency.
All your data is securely stored under your account ID in compliance with GDPR, ensuring privacy and accountability at every step.
Why does Cyclothe need my residential address? #
Your residential address allows us to identify the municipality responsible for your recycling efforts. Under EU regulations, municipalities are required to transparently record and report the recycling activities of residents within their jurisdiction. This ensures compliance and accountability in meeting sustainability goals.
