On October 7, Cyclothe joined municipalities, public authorities, and industry representatives at Norrlandsträffen 2026 in Åre, Sweden.
This year’s theme, “Från avfall till resurs” (From Waste to Resources), reflected a challenge at the heart of Cyclothe’s work: moving beyond waste collection towards systems that keep valuable materials in circulation.
Our Founder and CTO, Halit Kosmaz, took the stage to share Cyclothe’s approach to building connected, traceable textile collection and sorting infrastructure.
Åre is also an important location for Cyclothe’s ongoing work. Through the TRÅD project, we are collaborating with Åre kommun to test digital, traceable textile collection, with reuse as the first priority.
The discussions reinforced the importance of connecting technology, local infrastructure, and the people responsible for making circular systems work.
