On October 8, Cyclothe joined the Nordic-Baltic Textile Circularity Forum 2026 in Riga, Latvia, bringing together innovators, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders working to accelerate the transition to circular textiles.
Speaking in the session “Innovators and Startups Redesigning the Value Chain,” our Co-founder and CEO, Calvin Woolley, presented Cyclothe’s vision for Circular Resource Infrastructure.
His central message was clear: a circular economy cannot scale on linear infrastructure.
Calvin explored how digital identification, traceability, and connected systems can help transform post-use textiles from anonymous waste into resources with measurable value and a clearer path to reuse.

The presentation also challenged conventional measures of success in waste management:
“Success is not measured by how much waste we handle. It is measured by how little waste remains.”

For Cyclothe, the next step is turning this vision into infrastructure that can support circular textile systems at scale.
